The beauty of Pinterest is the amount of amazing information you can find. However, it takes a true “pinner” to dig and search for some of the best quality content.
You may find a delicious looking picture of a Smores cookie you can’t wait to bake, only to discover that the pin takes you on a treasure hunt through the website to find the recipe or even worse, the pin might not even link to the recipe at all!
Keep calm “pinners”. Last week, Pinterest announced that they are partnering with particular brands to introduce new and improved pins! Certain brand’s pins will now feature more information upfront with the image as well.
Love that Smores cookie picture? Now your mouth can water even more while viewing the recipe at the same time!
The following information will be showcased with pins in the particular categories:
- Recipe pins: cooking time, ingredients, and servings
- Products pins: availability, pricing, and where to buy
- Movie pins: cast members and content ratings
As of right now, the new and improved pins will only be featured if content is pinned from one of the partner brands’ websites. However, this new feature may become available to all brands in the future.
To check out the new pins, view any of the following partner brands’ Pinterest pages.
